College students can compete for cash prizes
CLARKSVILLE, ARK. (January 26, 2007) -- Students from across Arkansas will match math skills February 24 at 10 a.m. when Ozarks hosts the Arkansas Undergraduate Math Competition. Teams of two, three or four students will complete a three-hour written exam of math problems. The winning team will receive $50 per team member, while second and third place teams will receive $30 and $20 per team member, respectively. The exam will be preceded by a continental breakfast and followed by a pizza lunch.
