CLARKSVILLE, Ark. ---Students from the University of the Ozarks' Future Business Leaders-Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) collegiate chapter recently attended the National Leadership Conference in Orlando, Fla.
U of O students participated in various workshops and competed in several individual and team events. Ozarks’ winners included: Veronica Garcia and Maria Rodriguez - Business Plan (2nd place); Rebecca Aguilar and Xochilt Ferrey - Emerging Business Issues (2nd place); Brian Muston, Debbie Ford, Eric Steinmiller, and Chrissy Martin - Parliamentary Procedure (4th place); and Jeff Jackson, Gabby Franco, and Maria Rodriguez - Business Decision Making (8th place). Dr. Robert Hilton, local chapter adviser said, "We can be proud of the fact that the students at the University of the Ozarks were recognized as having won more competitive events at the national conference than any other school in the nation."
