Clarksville, Ark.-The University of the Ozark?s men?s tennis team competed in its first home match of the season on Tuesday falling to Hendrix College 5-4.
In doubles, Ozarks dropped two of three matches to the Warriors. Freshman Todd Turner and his partner Tom Lowe defeated Hendrix 8-5 for the Eagle’s lone doubles win. Greg Knaggs and Bill Blake dropped their match 8-2, while Jason Morgan and Bishop Bass fell 8-4 to the Warriors. In singles play, Michael Skimbo won 6-2, 6-4. Turner picked up a 6-2, 6-3 win, while Bishop Bass earned a 6-0, 6-1 win in singles.
Ozarks will travel to St. Louis to play in the ITA Regionals September 23-25.
