Clarksville, Ark.-The Lady Eagles (4-10-1, 2-8-1) gave up two goals late in the match to drop a 3-0 decision to East Texas Baptist (8-7-0, 6-5-0).

The Lady Tigers scored in the 14th minute of the first half on a controversial foul that would result in a penalty kick score. ETBU would add scores in the 76th minute and 84th minute to seal the win. The Lady Eagles managed five shots on the day, with senior midfielder Katie Lien recording two. Ozarks scored the match’s first goal on a Lindy Swatzell shot in the 34th minute, but ended the contest in double overtime with a 2-2 tie against LeTourneau. Swatzell, a junior forward, has a team leading nine goals on the year. Lindsey Turnbow had the assist. LeTourneau (4-8-1, 3-7-1) would tie the match at 1-1 just eight minutes later and would eventually take a 2-1 lead in the 66th minute on a goal by Stevi Peace. The Lady Eagles used late heroics by Ember Smith to tie the match at 2-2 in the 87 minute. Smith scored on a header from a corner kick by Nicole Simpson. However, neither team was able to score in their ten minute overtime periods. The Lady Eagles had eleven shots against the Lady Jackets. Swatzell and Lien each had three shots. Freshman keeper Sarah Stratton had seven saves in 110 minutes of play. Ozarks hosts University of Texas-Tyler on October 24 and UT-Dallas on October 26.
