The University of the Ozarks cross country teams hosted the annual Alumni Weekend 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, April 16.

The winners were (from left) Calvin Scharf, a U of O student from Sinton, Texas, who won the overall male title with a time of 17:48; Dr. Kim Van Scoy of Clarksville, a professor of life science education at Ozarks who won the female walking division with a time of 33:02; Ashley Teague, an Ozarks student from Lavaca, Ark., who won the overall female title with a time of 22:26; and John Figliulo of Rockwall, Texas, who won the male walking division with a time of 47:14.
A total of 44 runners and walkers took part in the event.
