Clarksville, Ark.-The Lady Crusaders (6-7-1, 5-5-1) put in two first half goals to gain a 2-1 victory over the Lady Eagles (4-12-0, 4-7-0).
Mary Hardin-Baylor would score off a corner kick in the 24th minute and would later add a second goal to lead 2-0 at halftime. Ozarks made a come back in the second half when Lindy Swatzell scored her league-leading 18th goal of the season on a free kick. The Lady Eagles continued to battle, but where unable to over come their first half deficit. Ozarks outshot the Lady Crusaders 7-2 in the second half and ended the game with a 8-7 shot advantage. Swatzell had 4 shots to lead the team. Goalkeeper Carrie Rogers had 3 saves. Ozarks will travel to Kerrville, Texas, to face Schreiner University on October 30 and Seguin, Texas, to face Texas Lutheran University on October 31.
