Clarksville, Ark-The University of the Ozarks athletic department announces it is now on Facebook and Twitter.
The official athletics’ Facebook page will feature updated photo galleries, videos, links to game stories, and frequent status updates as they relate to the University of the Ozarks athletics. Fans of the Eagles’ Facebook page will also be able to post comments, videos, pictures, and links. To become a fan of Ozarks Athletics, search for University of the Ozarks Athletics on Facebook and click on “Become a Fan.”
“It is important to utilize all media to contact our student-athletes and fans. With the introduction of our Facebook and Twitter Page, we hope to offer a more integrated and interactive approach to reach out to this audience,” said Sports Information Director Josh Peppas.
The Eagles can also be followed through Twitter all year long. Followers on Twitter will be able to receive live in-game text message alerts of all home games throughout the year with player stats and scoring updates. Ozarks can be found on Twitter by searching for U of O Athletics.
The University of the Ozarks participates in ten intercollegiate sports, is a member of the American Southwest Conference and affiliated with the NCAA Division III.
