Ozarks announces delayed opening for February 14

Clarksville, Ark. --- A mid-February snowfall has prompted University of the Ozarks administration to close the university at 10:00 am on Monday, February 13, and to delay opening on Tuesday, Februay 14 until 9:30 am.

With Monday’s closing, all classes scheduled after 10:00 am are cancelled.  Classes will resume at 9:30 am on Tuesday morning unless announced otherwise.

Due to the residential nature of Ozarks, essential functions such as food service, maintenance, and security will contine to be staffed even when the university is closed due to weather conditions.

Information is also sent to members of the Ozarks campus community via campus email, the university website, and through the campus emergency notification system, Eagle Alert.  Contact the Student Life Office to sign up for the Eagle Alert system, or to find out how to receive notifications if you don’t have a text messaging plan.
