Friday, Nov. 2, is the deadline to submit birthdays or anniversaries for the 2013 University of the Ozarks Women (UOW) Community Birthday Calendar.
The cost to submit a birthday or anniversary is 25 cents each. The deadline to order a 2013 calendar is also Nov. 2. The calendars are $6 each.
UOW, an organization made up of female faculty and staff of the university, has sponsored numerous programs and scholarships since its inception in 1976. The organization has printed the Community Calendar since 1977 and it typically contains more than 1,000 birthdays and anniversaries of local community members.
Proceeds from the calendar provide scholarships to non-traditional female students to attend U of O.
