Clarksville, Ark.--The men's tennis team defeated LeTourneau University, 5-2, March 5 in American Southwest Conference play in Clarksville.
Picking up singles victories were Lee Short (6-2, 6-2), Paul Northcutt (6-0, 6-2), Shane Newman (6-0, 6-0) and Brian Pillar (6-3, 6-4). In doubles action, Ozarks took three victories with wins recorded by Zach Schiff and Kevin Edwards (8-2), Short and Newman (8-1) and Pillar and Northcutt (8-3). The Eagles will travel to Clinton, Mississippi, to face Mississippi College on March 11 at 2:00 p.m.
