Men’s Cross Country Team Wins Hendrix Invitational

Clarksville, Ark.-The U of O men's cross country team won the Hendrix College Warrior Invitational 8K meet October 18 in Conway.

The squad defeated University of Dallas, Lyon College, Hendrix College and the University of Central Arkansas. Ozarks took first place with a score of 27 points. Ozarks placed three runners in the top ten, with senior Zach Boatwright placing sixth overall with a time of 30:12. Junior Tim Servis finished seventh with a time of 30:15. Clarksville’s Josh Patterson finished ninth with a time of 30:59. Sophomore Jacob Sibley recorded a time of 32:38 and junior Clif Cottrell had a time of 32:50. It marks the second time this year the men’s cross country team has won a meet. The Eagles took first place in the Hendrix College Orange Crush Invitational in September.
