Clarksville, Ark.-The men's cross country posted a strong showing at the UT Tyler Invitational Saturday finishing third overall and placing three runners in the top-12.
The Eagles finished behind Lon Morris (39 pts.) and host UT Tyler (55 pts.) with 69 points in the 8K. David James finished as Ozarks highest runner in 10th place, running a 28:09. Matthew Friant followed with a 28:10 time for 11th place and Tristan Cooper ran a 28:25 to finish in 12th place. Calvin Jones ran a 29:12 to finish 21st overall, giving the Eagles four in the top-25.
