The Department of Education announced a further delay to release batches of FAFSA information (ISIRs) to schools until the first half of March.

Louisiana College Edges Past Lady Eagles

Clarksville, Ark.-Louisiana College slipped past the Lady Eagles 63-59 in a key American Southwest Conference game on Thursday night.

<#IMAGE:1#>Despite the loss, the Lady Eagles (8-14, 6-11) remain in the playoff hunt. Ozarks trails East Texas Baptist University (15-3 ASC), UT-Tyler (12-5 ASC), Mississippi College (9-8 ASC) and are tied with UT-Dallas (6-11 ASC). UT-Dallas, however, holds the tie-breaker over the Lady Eagles. UT-Tyler is not eligible for post-season play this season. Ozarks will travel to Clinton, Mississippi to face Mississippi College on Saturday. The Lady Eagles will then finish the regular season at home with games against East Texas Baptist University on February 15 and LeTourneau University on February 17. The Lady Eagles trailed 61-52 with 1:59 remaining in the game, but scored seven straight points to narrow the gap to 61-59 on a Mandi Carter jumper with 12 seconds left. The Lady Wildcats (8-14, 6-12) then missed two straight free throws with 8 seconds left, but grabbed the offensive rebound on the second attempt to secure the win. After finishing the half tied at 25-25, the Lady Eagles held the lead for over four minutes late in the second half. Erica Eneks scored 9 of her team-high 17 points in the second half. Eneks had a balanced game, recording 9 rebounds and tallying 4 steals. Jeanne Randall had 14 points and Cater followed with 10 points and 9 rebounds.
