Clarksville, Ark.-Louisiana College's baseball team completed a three-game sweep against the University of the Ozarks with a pair of wins Saturday in Clarksville.

Freddy Prince laced a two-run single to center field in the first inning and Bobby Osburn threw three shutout innings, but Louisiana College scored all seven of their runs in two innings to take a 7-3 win over the Eagles (4-24, 1-11 ASC) in game one.

Osburn ran into a bit of trouble in the fourth as Louisiana College (21-9, 8-1 ASC) recorded three straight hits and scored three runs to take a 3-2 lead. In the bottom of the fourth, Michael Prusator was robbed of a double by center fielder Cody Laprarie, who made a diving catch at the wall. Prince did get on with a hit, but Louisiana College induced a double play to end the inning. The Wildcats then built a 7-2 lead in the fifth when Jordan Marks hit a three-run home run, all of which were unearned runs for Osburn. Tony Morales ripped a single through the middle of the infield to score Nick Brill from second base to make it 7-3 heading into the sixth frame.

Osburn (0-6) yielded three earned runs and allowed five hits to take the loss.

Prince finished 2-for-3 with two RBI to lead Ozarks at the plate.

Louisiana College took a 20-10 win in game two.

Ozarks loaded the bases in the bottom of the second with one out for Kurt Shemanske. Louisiana College pitcher Justin Reed got a strikeout for the second out, but then gave up a two-run single against Morales. Mitchell Powers laced a single to left field to score one more and Prusator was hit by a pitch to load the bases again. Reed recorded a strikeout to end the inning, but the damage was done as Ozarks led 3-0. The Wildcats came back in a big way in the top of the third scoring six runs on five hits. The Eagles answered in the bottom half of the inning as Jake West ripped a two-run double to get Ozarks within 6-5. Shemanske drove in West with a single to left field to even the score, 6-6. The back-and-forth contest continued as Louisiana College went ahead 9-6 in the top of the fourth. West launched a deep shot to left centerfield to score a pair of runs in the fourth to bring Ozarks within 9-8. Trailing 11-8 in the sixth, Ozarks loaded the bases with one out only to strand all three. The Wildcats’ offense powered in eight runs in the seventh to lead 19-8 and put the game out of reach.

Michael Skimbo (0-2) took the loss as the starter.
