LeTourneau Women Edge Lady Eagles 5-4

Clarksville, Ark.-The women?s tennis team held a 2-1 lead after doubles, but couldn?t hang onto it as LeTourneau University fought back for a 5-4 win in American Southwest Conference play Saturday.

It was the final match of the season for Ozarks. Head Coach Shaun Wiseman and Assistant Coach Chad Mann honored seniors Stephanie Cloud, Chelsea Glasscock and Tara Richards between doubles and singles matches as part of “Senior Day.”

In doubles play, Cloud and Richards took a 8-0 victory and Mollie Wilkinson and Glasscock gained a 8-4 victory. Holding a 2-1 advantage, Ozarks headed into singles and picked up wins at No. 2 and No. 6. Whitney Lewis posted a 6-4, 6-4 victory and Kalli Simpson took a 6-1, 6-1 victory.
