Clarksville, Ark.-The McMurry University Lady Indians used a goal in the 36th minute to upend the University of the Ozarks women's soccer team 1-0 in American Southwest Conference action on Friday afternoon.
It was McMurry’s Karina Kreiner who scored the game-winner to give the Lady Indians their second league win of the season. McMurry out shot Ozarks 15-8 in the match. Heather Dryden, Laura Spruiell and Amanda Bohon had 2 shots apiece. Olivia Fisher had 5 saves. The Lady Eagles fall to 5-5-2 overall and 2-4-0 in ASC play. McMurry improves to 3-8-0 overall and 2-5-0 in league play. Ozarks takes on defending ASC champion Hardin-Simmons on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
