Clarksville, Ark.-The University of the Ozarks women's tennis team picked up a 7-2 win over Louisiana College on Friday.
Julie Richardson, Karie Allen, Tammy Higdon, Cindy Rapp and Mandy Hock were victorious in singles matches. The doubles tandem of Richardson and Allen were winners, 8-4, in the number one doubles match. Hock and Rapp had a 8-2 victory in doubles action. “The American Southwest Conference competition is the toughest it has ever been, so any win is a big win,” said head coach Sally Wood. The next home match for the men’s team will be on March 26 against Harding University. The men’s and women’s team will be at home on April 2 to take on Lyon College.
