Homecoming 2015 scheduled for Jan. 26-31

A week of engaging and entertaining on-campus activities will highlight University of the Ozarks' Homecoming 2015, scheduled for Jan. 26-31.

The week-long series of Homecoming events, presented by the Student Life Office, will begin on Monday, Jan. 26, with an inflatable obstacle course and bungee run competition from 7-10 p.m. in the Rogers Conference Center. The week’s events will conclude on Saturday, Jan. 31, with a performance by comedian Nick Guerra, sponsored by the Campus Activities Board.

There will also be a pair of home men’s and women’s basketball games: Thursday, Jan. 29, against East Texas Baptist University and Saturday, Jan. 31, against LeTourneau University. On Saturday, the presentation of the 2015 Homecoming Court will be held during halftime of the men’s game. Saturday is also Senior Day and the seniors on the basketball teams and cheerleading squad will be recognized between the men’s and women’s games.

Monday, Jan. 26:
7-10 p.m.: Inflatable Obstacle Course and Bungee Run, Rogers Conference Center

Tuesday, Jan. 27:
11a.m.-1 p.m.: T-Shirt Swap, lower level Seay Student Center
Bring t-shirts you are tired of wearing and trade with your classmates or pick from some of our "older" Ozarks t-shirts (from past events and years). Any left-over shirts will be donated to a local charity!

Wednesday, Jan. 28:
Waffle Cone Wednesday, Borck Dining Hall
Come enjoy ice cream sundaes as the featured dessert brought to you by Aramark!

Thursday, Jan. 29:
5:30 p.m. & 7:30 p.m.: Home basketball games
Come support your Eagle basketball teams AND get a chance to win cash and prizes!

Friday, Jan. 30:
7:00 p.m.: Movie Night, Rogers Conference Center
Each room will be set with a different movie to provide something for every movie buff. There will be comedy, action, and more! And feel free to come in your comfy attire, bring blankets and be prepared for a night of fun and leisure!

Saturday, Jan. 31:
1:00 & 3:00 pm: Home basketball games
Senior Day activities between games
Our senior basketball players and cheerleaders will be recognized for their contributions to Ozarks athletics during this time.
Homecoming festivities
The presentation of the 2015 Homecoming Court will take place during halftime of the men’s basketball game. Representatives from each classification will dress in their formal wear and be present for the coronation of the 2015 Homecoming King and Queen voted on by the entire student body.
7 p.m.: Comedian, Rogers Conference Center
Campus Activities Board presents Nick Guerra, a rising comedian, free to students, faculty and staff. It will be a night of fun and laughs for our audience over 16.
