Hilton, Dvoracek join university

Clarksville, Ark. --- Dayna (Trembley) Hilton and Dawn Dvoracek have joined the University of the Ozarks' Advancement Office in director positions.

Hilton, a 1986 Ozarks graduate, will serve as the director of major grants. Dvoracek will serve as the director of church relations. Hilton brings experience in grant writing and management to the position. She has been a successful grant writer for three years for her fire department, Johnson County RFD #1, and is a grant reviewer for the Department of Homeland Security Federal Emergency Management Agency’s Fire Act Grants. Hilton is married to Dr. Robert Hilton, Chair of the University’s Division of Business, Communications and Government, and they have one son, Michael. She is the grand daughter of the late John and Virginia Zimpel of Clarksville. Dvoracek earned a bachelor’s degree from Michigan Technological University and an MBA from the University of Central Arkansas. She has worked at the university since 1993, most recently serving as coordinator of gift records. Dvoracek is an ordained elder, serving on Session at First Presbyterian Church in Clarksville and on the worship committee. She is also vice-moderator of the Presbyterian Women’s Association at the church. She has two children, Sonje and Richard. Dvoracek’s responsibilities as director of church relations are to nurture, develop and strengthen relationships between the university and the churches within the Synod of the Sun, Presbyterian Church (USA).
