Heifer International is a non-profit organization dedicated to ending hunger and poverty and promoting caring for the Earth.

The exhibit will run from Nov. 3-22 in the Stephens Gallery, located in the University’s Walton Fine Arts Center. The exhibit is open when classes are in session, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. There is no cost for admission and the public is welcome.

Heifer International is a non-profit organization dedicated to ending hunger and poverty and promoting caring for the Earth. Over the course of its 67-year history, Heifer has actively engaged in communicating with donors, partner organizations and project participants through virtually every medium available.

According to a news release, as a completely donor-funded organization, Heifer walks a fine line in creating communications pieces; they strive to create excellent, top-notch design that doesn’t look extravagant or expensive. A Brand Design Toolkit specifies the color palettes, type fonts, and general design aesthetic for collaterals and online materials.  Paper stocks are chosen for the "green" qualities and non-shiny surfaces. While subtle, these design cues express the soul and values of the organization to donors and other audiences.
