Harding University Nets Tennis Victories

Clarksville, Ark.-NCAA II Harding University defeated the Lady Eagles 9-0 and the Eagles 8-1 in non-conference tennis action Thursday afternoon.

The Eagles (7-3) have been Harding’s toughest competition all spring season as the Bison have dominated most teams and continue to remain undefeated. The Eagles gave Harding (16-0) all it wanted Thursday. In No. 3 singles, Corey Dillard earned a 6-3, 6-5 win. Bishop Bass battled the entire match, but fell 6-1, 3-6, 7-6 in No. 2 singles. With a 9-0 defeat, the Lady Eagles fall to 2-8 overall. Harding improves to 12-2.
