Clarksville, Ark.-Hardin-Simmons scored in the 77th minute to upend the Eagles 1-0 in American Southwest Conference play on Friday in Abilene.
Ozarks (6-2-2, 1-2-1) had seven shots in the first half but couldn’t connect on any of those and the half ended at 0-0. The Cowboys (5-2-2, 4-0-1) held a 8-3 shots advantage in the second half, and none was bigger than Dustin Botting’s goal to secure the match. Ozarks finished with a 7-6 shots on goal advantage.
Ozarks will play McMurry University Saturday at 3:00 p.m.
