Clarksville, Ark.-Francisco Garza scored twice in the second half and Dylan Evans added another to push the Eagles past LeTourneau University 3-0 in Saturday's American Southwest Conference match in Longview, Texas.

Ozarks (11-4-1, 7-3-1) had plenty of chances to score in the first half, as they outshot LeTourneau 12-5. Garza scored a goal just 47 seconds into the second half to build momentum for the Eagles. Devon Utley received the assist. Evans followed with a goal in the 64th minute to mount a 2-0 advantage for Ozarks. Brandon VanCleave was credited with the assist. Garza, along with Utley and Tate Ramirez, led a late second half surge for Ozarks that resulted in Garza’s second goal. Each put on a strong showing at the forward position and helped Ozarks hold a 13-4 shots advantage in the second half.

Evans, who received the assist on the final score, finished with five shots, and VanCleave and Utley each had four.

Neil Thompson had two saves for his second shutout of the season.

Ozarks will host Concordia University Texas October 29 and UT-Tyler October 31 on Senior Day.
