Jones Learning Center Director Julia Frost will be participating in a pair of presentations during the Learning Disabilities Association of America's national conference in Orlando, Fla., on Feb. 14-18.
Frost will take part in a panel discussion titled, "Accommodations for Adults with Learning Disabilities," sponsored by the Adult Topics Committee that Frost chairs. Her portion of the presentation will cover how students can access accommodations in postsecondary settings. Also covered in the session will be accommodations on high-stakes tests and in the workplace, as well as technology that is often requested as accommodations.
Frost will also make a presentation titled, "Parents and Educators: Allies for Success," during the conference. In addition, she will have a booth for the JLC in the exhibit hall.
