The Department of Education announced a further delay to release batches of FAFSA information (ISIRs) to schools until the first half of March.

Freshmen Pace Ozarks At Arkansas Tech Twilight

Clarksville, Ark.-A number of freshmen runners paced the men's and women's cross country teams at the Arkansas Tech Twilight Friday in Russellville.

Both the men and women finished fifth overall among three NCAA I teams, a pair of NCAA II teams and another NCAA III team. It was junior Tristan Cooper who finished the highest among Ozarks runners, running a 21:51.58 in the 4-mile event , placing him 19th overall. Cooper was followed by three freshmen – Matthew Friant, Calvin Jones and Calvin Scharf. Friant finished 23rd overall after running a 22:10.40, while Jones (25th) and Scharf (26th) ran a 22:29.28 and 22:32.85, respectively. Junior David James followed with a 22:47.59, placing him 32nd overall.

Freshman Samantha Sparks led the Lady Eagles with a 13:41.89 time in the 2-mile event. She was 26th overall. Tadera Garland also finished in the top-30, running a 14:38.37.
