University of the Ozarks' Student Life Office has scheduled the fourth annual Ozarks Bargain Mayhem for Saturday, May 4, beginning at 7 a.m.
Megan FinCannon, coordinator of campus activities and recreational education, is organizing the campus-wide garage sale and she said it promises to be a win-win event.
"Ozarks students, faculty, and staff are invited to bring out all their unwanted end-of-the-year things," she said. "There is no charge for selling your extra stuff. To sign up, just stop by the Student Life Office to fill out a form. We’ll take care of the advertising and provide tables and chairs. All you have to show up and sell your stuff."
Everyone is invited to check out the bargains. Usual items include organizers, clothes, TVs, DVDs, games, books, and even the occasional refrigerator.
"You never really know what people are going to show up with. I still have my refrigerator that I bought there," FinCannon said.
