Five Join Alumni Board of Directors

Five new alumni began their three-year terms on the University of the Ozarks Alumni Association’s Board of Directors on July 1, 2026.

The new members are (pictured, clockwise from top left) Morgan Jackson ’12, Kamren Roelke ’23, Samantha Snyder Carpenter ’97, Carolina (Andino) Villars ’96, and Carter Little ’24.

Jackson is group director of global supply chain for Walmart International. In her role, she leads strategic initiatives that strengthen supply chain performance and support business growth across global markets. A respected operations and logistics leader, she is passionate about developing people, building strong partnerships, and creating innovative solutions to complex challenges. In addition to her professional responsibilities, Jackson serves as chair of the Arkansas Trucking Association’s 40 Under 40 Council,. After earning a degree in business from Ozarks, she went on to earn her MBA from Arkansas State University.

Roelke is a procurement manager at Walmart in Northwest Arkansas. A business administration graduate and member of the men’s basketball team at Ozarks, he leads strategic sourcing and category management initiatives focused on optimizing costs, improving supplier performance, and mitigating risk. He specializes in data-driven decision-making, spend analysis, and RFP development to help deliver measurable business value and operational efficiency.

Carpenter, of Conway, Ark., serves as Concurrent Campus Principal for Virtual Arkansas, where she leads concurrent enrollment initiatives and supports public school stakeholders across the state. Before transitioning into secondary and higher education, she spent 10 years working in journalism and communications, experiences that continue to shape her passion for storytelling, leadership, and public engagement.

Villars, of Wichita, Kan., is a global marketing executive with more than 20 years of experience leading growth, innovation, and portfolio strategy across North America, APAC, Europe, and Latin America. She led marketing for Cargill’s Food & Beverage business, where she unified cross-functional teams and strengthened category and portfolio performance. Throughout her global career, she has helped organizations accelerate innovation, improve speed-to-market, and advance sustainability-focused growth strategies across diverse international markets.

Little is a mechanical sales representative for Railway Supply Group (RSG) in Oklahoma City. A business administration graduate of Ozarks, Carter also earned a master’s degree in sport and entertainment management from the University of South Carolina in 2025. In his role with RSG, Little supports customers throughout the Midwest and across the country, providing mechanical and freight car components as well as locomotive filtration products to major rail industry companies such as Union Pacific, BNSF Railway, GATX, and Trinity Industries. Little is a former basketball conference championship student-athlete and the first member of his family to earn both a college degree and a master’s degree.

The board officers for 2026-27 include, George Pittenger ’91, president; Taylor Jacks ’12, vice president; Andrea Cooper ’12, secretary; and Cory Maag ’21, treasurer.

Those board members whose terms expired on June 30 were, Tyler Wilson ’11, Reggie Brasfield ’04, Jennifer Fisher ’93, Cori Dyson ’97, and Cyleste Coppage ’97.

Created in 1967, the U of O Alumni Board of Directors meets three times a year and is comprised of up to 30 U of O alumni who are volunteers. They dedicate their time in support of current students and faculty as well as in engagement of fellow alumni and recruitment efforts.
