Clarksville, Ark. -- Fayetteville artist Robert Andes will present his exhibit titled Faces at University of the Ozarks throughout the month of September as part of the university's Artist of the Month series.

A native of New Hampshire, Andes recently earned his Master’s of Fine Arts degree from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, where he now makes his home and studio. His work has been shown in galleries throughout Northwest Arkansas and Canada, and he is teaching at the Art Center of the Ozarks. Andes’ Web site is www.robandes.com.

"In this series Faces, each work is intended to capture a particular mood or emotion, and various devices and techniques are used to support the intention."

The exhibit will be available for public viewing from Sept. 4-30. There will be a Meet-the-Artist Reception for Andes from 6-7:30 p.m., Sept. 13, in the gallery, which is located in the Walton Fine Arts Center on the north side of campus. For more information on the art show, contact the university at (479) 979-1349.
