Fall 2025 Classes begin Aug. 26

University of the Ozarks will begin classes for the 2025 Fall Semester on Tuesday, Aug. 26.

The University is expected to welcome an incoming class of approximately 300 new students to campus for the New Student Orientation, which runs from Aug. 22-25.

The orientation begins with move-in from 7:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 22. There will be an official welcome ceremony at 1:15 p.m. on Aug. 22 in the Seay Theatre, located in the Walton Fine Arts Center.

Other events scheduled for the New Student Orientation weekend include, a Matriculation ceremony in Munger-Wilson Chapel, a farewell-to-parents dinner hosted by the University president on Friday evening, and a variety of sessions and workshops to acclimate students to college life at Ozarks.

Returning students will move into residence halls on Sunday, Aug. 24.

Aug. 20: Faculty/Staff Opening Workshop

Aug. 22-25: New Student Orientation

Aug. 26: Classes begin

Sept. 1: Labor Day Holiday (No classes, offices closed)

Sept. 2: Last day to register for classes

Oct. 16-19: Homecoming Week

Oct. 23-24: Fall Break (No classes)

Nov. 26-28: Thanksgiving Break (No classes, offices closed)

Dec. 10: Last day of classes

Dec. 12-17: Final exams

Dec. 20: Fall Commencement
