Faculty and Staff Homecoming King and Queen crowned

Clarksville, Ark. --- The University of the Ozarks recently held its annual Faculty and Staff Homecoming King and Queen fund-raising contest, which benefits a local organization or charity.

This year’s event raised $725.65 for the Ozark Rape Crisis Center in Clarksville. The contest, held in conjunction with Homecoming Week at U of O, was sponsored by the Student Life Office and the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. Among those who took part in the check presentation on Feb. 17 at Mabee Gymnasium were (from left) Queen Phyllis Johnson, assistant professor of business education; King Chad Floyd, head athletic trainer; University President Dr. Rick Niece; Kerry Taylor, advocate for ORCC; Tony Santoro, president of SAAC; and Stacie Murphy, victim advocate for ORCC.
