Clarksville, Ark.-Sophomore right-hander Tyler Erickson tossed a four-hit complete game to help Ozarks past Westminster College 4-1 Saturday in the Ozarks Baseball Classic.

Erickson evened his record to 1-1 on the year and did not allow a hit in the final three innings of the game. After giving up one hit in the first frame, he did not allow another hit until the fifth inning. Ozarks (2-2) held a 4-0 lead at that point thanks to a four run second inning, but Westminster (0-2) did scratch across a run in the fifth. In the second, Ian Bryan and Jonathan Cox had bases loaded walks to score a pair of runs, and Sam Shook and Chris Driedric also received RBI. Erickson retired the side in the third and fourth innings to keep Ozarks’ lead.

Ozarks recorded seven hits, with Nick Brill and Freddy Prince each collecting two apiece.

In nine innings of work, Erickson fanned eight, walked three and was charged with one earned run.

Ozarks will face Millsaps College (4-1) Sunday at 1:00 pm.

In the first game of the day, Millsaps roared back from a 10-6 deficit after seven and scored five runs in the eighth to earn a 11-10 victory over Simpson College (0-2).

Millsaps recorded four hits in the eighth, with Samuel Doucet providing a clutch two-run double for the go-ahead run. The Majors had five players with two hits. Keith Shumaker drove in three runs for Millsaps. Zander Romano (1-0) received the win. Chris Dorff (0-1) took the loss for Simpson. Simpson out hit Millsaps 15-13 and Jake Barr paced the Storm with a 3-for-5 performance.
