Dr. Rickey Casey, professor of management and business at University of the Ozarks, has been elected Region Six vice president for the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE).
Casey’s term began Jan. 1 and will run through 2014. In 2015, he will become president of the IACBE Region Six assemblies, which includes Arkansas, Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Mexico.
University of the Ozarks has received specialized accreditation for its business programs through IACBE, which is the leading outcomes-based professional accreditation agency for business and management education in colleges and universities. The IACBE has hundreds of member institutions and campuses, and has accredited approximately 1,000 business and business-related programs in the United States and throughout the world.
Casey has been a full-time faculty member in the business program since 1987.
