Clarksville, Ark.-The University of the Ozarks will host its second Ozarks Invitational this Saturday.
The 5K women’s race will start at 9:00 a.m., and will be followed by the men’s 8K at 9:45 a.m. The Ozarks course is located just south of Interstate 40 near the Wal-Mart Supercenter. Ozarks men won the race last season and placed four runners in the top-5. The Lady Eagles finished second last year and had two of the top-5 runners.
Participants in this year’s race include University of Dallas, Central Baptist College, University of Texas-Dallas, John Brown University and University of Arkansas-Monticello on the men’s side. In the women’s race, participants will include University of Dallas, Arkansas Tech University, Central Baptist College, University of Texas-Dallas, Henderson State University, John Brown University and University of Arkansas-Monticello.
Ozarks will host the Arkansas NCAA D-III Championships on October 17.
