Clarksville, Ark.-The University of the Ozarks men's and women's cross country team competed in the Lambuth University Invitational October 16 in Jackson, Tennessee.
The women placed second as a team with 34 points. Samantha Puent placed second overall with a 22:17 time in the 5K and Tadera Garland finished third after running a 22:28.
The men finished second overall behind Bethel College (32 points) with 35 points. David James finished second overall with a 27:45 time in the 8K. Tristan Cooper finished third (28:04) and Jeremy Provence finished fifth (30:06).
Ozarks will travel to Seguin, Texas, for the American Southwest Conference Championships November 1.
