Clarksville, Ark.-Concordia University Texas scored a goal within the first minute of play and then added four goals in the second half to upend the Lady Eagles 5-0 Saturday afternoon in American Southwest Conference action.
Concordia (11-5-0, 8-3-0 ASC) got an early goal from Lena New to give the visitors a 1-0 lead. Ozarks’ defense kept the Tornados off the board the rest of the half, but Concordia built a 3-0 lead after scoring in the 54th minute and 67th minute. The Lady Eagles surrendered two goals later in the match to fall 5-0.
The Lady Eagles will travel to Richardson, Texas, to face Texas-Dallas October 25 and then complete the regular season with a home match against Centenary October 29.
