Concordia University Texas Women Force 28 Turnovers In Win

Austin, Texas-The Concordia University Texas women recorded 16 steals and forced 28 turnovers as the Lady Eagles suffered a 77-49 American Southwest Conference loss Saturday.

Ozarks (2-5, 0-3 ASC) held the lead for the first ten minutes of the contest, but Concordia (4-1, 2-0 ASC) controlled the remainder of the game by forcing the Lady Eagles into several miscues. Ozarks shot an impressive 10-of-19 (52%) from the field in the first half, but the Tornados held a 39-26 lead at the half thanks to a 19-5 run in the final eight minutes.

Concordia would build a 19-point advantage five minutes into the second half and then had a twenty point lead for most of the second half.

Taylor Farmer paced Ozarks with 14 points. Tamara Wilkett added 10 points.

Ozarks will host Texas Lutheran December 5 and Schreiner University December 7.
