Clarksville, Ark. ---The Clarksville Children's Company is gearing up for it's sixth free summer theater program for local children. The program, founded by Ginny Myers Sain in 1997, is sponsored by the University of the Ozarks and local businesses and is free to any child who would like to participate.

This year’s productions will be "Alice In Wonderland" for children entering 1st through 8th grades, and "Little Women" for children entering 9th through 12th grades. Rehearsals for both plays will begin on June 3 and will continue through the performances of "Little Women" on June 28 and "Alice In Wonderland" on July 6. Auditions, rehearsals, and the performances will all take place at the Walton Fine Arts Center on the University of the Ozarks campus. For more information, or to sign your child up for this program, please contact Ms. Sain at 979-1346. There are a limited number of openings in the program and children will be enrolled on a "first come, first served" basis. In addition to performers, Ms. Sain is also looking students who would like to help out backstage. The program is also in need of new sponsors. If your business would like to sponsor the program, please contact Mrs. Sain for more information.
