Campus raises money for American Heart Association

The University of the Ozarks campus community recently raised a total of $1026.81 for The American Heart Association during its 2009 Faculty/Staff Homecoming King and Queen competition.

The event was sponsored by the Student Life Office and the Student Athlete Advisory Committee. Student Life Office Manager Glenda Gibson was voted as Faculty/Staff Queen and Dean of Students Joe Hoing was elected King. Those attending the check presentation included (from left) student Lindsey Hanna, student Lea Rana, Gibson, Hoing, The American Heart Association representative Denton Tumbleson, University President Dr. Rick Niece and student Dylan Evans.
