Clarksville, Ark. --- Nationally acclaimed humorist, storyteller and poet Biscuits O'Bryan will share his folksy cowboy yarns with audience members at the University of the Ozarks at 7 p.m., Tuesday, March 4, in the Walton Fine Arts Center.

Monte Jones, a fifth generation Texan and retired Episcopal priest who lives in Colorado City, Texas. For the past 16 years, Jones has entertained audiences in the role of Biscuits O’Bryan, the crusty cowboy cook of I.O. Everybody Ranch. His original stories, personal anecdotes, poems, cowboy philosophy, and Texas tall tales have delighted both young and old. "I pick up stories from all over the place and try to personalize them," Biscuits says. "I think they’re more interesting when they come from a personal perspective. My stories come from a lot of exaggerated personal experiences." He has published two books, "Biscuits O’Bryan’s Book of Beans, Bread and Other Bull," and "More Bull from Biscuits," and a CD, "Biscuits Live at the Grand."
