Clarksville, Ark. ? The 2008 University of the Ozarks baseball media guide has been accorded national honors as one of the best informational guides in the United States.
In a panel of media members and sponsored by the Collegiate Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA), the 32-page media guide has been voted the fourth-best baseball media guide in the nation. The publication earned its ranking in a judging that includes all NCAA III, NAIA and NCCAA institutions as well as junior colleges. The guide was written, edited and designed by Sports Information Director Josh Peppas. Assistant Sports Information Director Daniel Gallegos provided editorial and statistical contributions.
The judging is based on seven categories, including team information, season in review, program history, general information, conference information, graphic design and editorial.
