ASC All-Academic Team Members Announced

Clarksville, Ark.-Several University of the Ozarks student-athletes have been named to the American Southwest Conference 2001 Fall All-Academic Team, announced by the league office recently.

The Lady Eagles’ soccer team placed four members on the academic squad: junior psychology/biology major Kara Carlson of Spring, Texas; senior marketing major Jennifer Jungman of Ovilla, Texas; junior environmental studies major Natalie Mourton of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; and junior accounting major Anne Obermueller of Derby, Kansas. The Eagles’ soccer team placed six members on the squad: junior political science major Aaron Coats of Boise, Idaho; senior business administration major Marcos Gonzalez of Georgetown, Texas; sophomore business administration major Ricky Herrera of Las Cruces, New Mexico; senior biology major Phil Kaiser of Modesto, California; senior political science major Daniel Sigala of Borger, Texas; and Eric Steinmiller, an English/education/art major of Arkadelphia. Men’s cross country runner Tim Servis, a sophomore physical education major from Harrison, was also named to the team.
