Art students to showcase works in exhibit

Seventeen University of the Ozarks students will showcase their artwork as part of a special Student Art Exhibit, scheduled for Jan. 18-28 in the Walton Fine Arts Center.

The exhibit will feature a variety of works from Ozarks students who are pursuing either a major or minor in art. The students include, Tyler Rideout, Abigail Kern, Anna Smith, James Storer, Kurstein Keck, Catalina Ruiz-Salazar, Dylan Eakin, Tori Rhein, Josue Ayala, Chelsey Becker, Elizabeth Di Paola, Lakyn Robinson, Lyndsey Acton, Carmen Castorena, Alisha Nystrom, Carlos Ramirez and Brittany Green.

The exhibit will be displayed in the Stephens Art Gallery and is free and open to the public. There will be a reception to meet the student artists from 7-8 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 24, in the gallery.
