"I am pleased with the quality of the artworks in this exhibition from the University of the Ozarks students," said Tammy Harrington, professor of art at U of O. "It is important for the students to participate in art exhibitions and competitions because it is an essential part of the profession of art. It is an honor for Angie and Matt to be recognized for their efforts. One of our goals in the art program is to prepare the students so they can create artworks of both technical and creative mastery in order to be competitive in juried competitions, internship opportunities, and employment in art-related fields.
