Clarksville, Ark.-U of O senior defender Aaron Coats was named American Southwest Conference East Division Defensive Player of the Week after leading the Eagles to three consecutive wins last week.
Coats, a 5-10, 160-pound native of Boise, Idaho, was the key defensive player in Ozarks’ three shutout victories. Coats provided strong marking against the top strikers from Bacone, Rust and Lyon. Coats was named the ASC East Division Defensive Player of the Year last season and earned conference All-Academic honors. Ozarks improved its record to 4-2-0.
