Clarksville, Ark. ---The annual University of the Ozarks Alumni Weekend will once again feature a 5K run/walk as well as a golf tournament.
Numerous events and reunions are planned for Alumni Weekend 2002, scheduled for April 19-21. The Ozarks Alumni Office is taking early registration for all of the weekend’s activities, including the annual golf tournament and 5K road run. ??? The golf tournament will be held Friday, April 19, at Chamberlyn Country Club in Danville. Registration begins at 8 a.m. and tee time is 9 a.m. At least one person in the four-person team scramble format must be either an Ozarks alumnus, faculty member, staff member or student. The cost is $50 per person and includes golf cart rental and lunch. ??? The 5K run/walk will be held at 8 a.m. Saturday, April 20. The race begins in the Mabee Gymnasium parking lot and winds through downtown Clarksville. Awards will be presented in gender age categories.
