The Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program is a program of the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. The scholarship enables students of limited financial means to study or intern abroad, providing them with skills critical to our national security and economic prosperity. Over 3,600 scholarships of up to $5,000 will be awarded this academic year for U.S. citizen undergraduates to study or intern abroad. The University will be open and fully staffed through Monday, December 21, 2020 and reopen fully staffed on Monday, January 4, 2021.
The virtual brick ceremony for Fall 2020 graduates is scheduled for Friday, December 18 at 4:00pm, followed by a champagne toast via zoom at 5:00pm. The virtual brick ceremony event will be livestreamed via Facebook live and will begin promptly at 4:00pm on Friday, December 18. The Champagne Toast will follow the brick ceremony on Friday, December 18 at 5:00pm via zoom.
