Campus Globers’ Gap Year Program

Looking for a unique Gap Year Program to explore an immersive experience on a US Campus?

University of the Ozarks is one of many partners with the Campus Globers program, which provides an opportunity for students to seek customize, immersive, innovative and engaging experiences across the world.

These experiences aren’t just academic, but fully captivating, redefining how students perceive and engage the world as a whole — with an emphasis on extracurricular activities, culture, and life outside of the classroom.

The Gap Year:

Students enrolled in the Gap Year Program will not only take English Language classes but will also enroll in up to three courses based on English proficiency. Outside of the classroom, you will be able to experience programming and activities offered by various faculty and staff of the campus community that explore extracurricular opportunities and cultural experiences. You will also be assigned a peer mentor, experience life in the residence halls, and enjoy traditional college experiences.

Students’ choosing the Campus Globers’ Gap Year Program at University of the Ozarks must be classified as non-degree seeking, attend full time, and attend on a J-1 Visa. In the gap year program, you will learn to promote cultural exchange, strengthen your English language skills, learn new professional and interpersonal skills, and develop a stronger understanding of career and professional goals.

Students must submit an official English proficiency test result as part of their application. Based on their score, they will be placed in an appropriate course offering tailored to their level.

Admission Process

Making the decision to study away from home, leaving your comfort zone to explore new horizons, and immersing yourself in a different culture is one of the best decisions you will ever make. University of the Ozarks welcomes students from all over the globe for a unique undergraduate experience.

OBTAINING YOUR J-1 VISA
