SGA Mission
We, the students of the University of the Ozarks, having power vested by the student body and recognized by the Board of Trustees to provide the official voice through which student opinions may be expressed; to act as a liaison between students, faculty, staff, and administration with campus issues; to promote a better spirit of unity among all members of the University of the Ozarks community, do hereby amend the Student Government Association’s constitution for the University of the Ozarks, Clarksville, Arkansas.

What We Do
The purpose of this Student Government shall be to:
1) Further the interests of the student body.
2) Encourage students to develop leadership qualities.
3) Encourage students to exemplify qualities of responsible citizenship.
4) Function cooperatively with other constituent bodies to achieve the mission and purpose of the University.
5) Improve students’ physical, social, and cultural welfare.
6) Provide official channels through which students’ opinions may be expressed.
7) Represent students’ perspective of campus life.
8) Keep the student body informed on relevant issues.
9) Promote and help maintain a positive relationship between the student body and the local community.
