October 30 @ 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm
The fall season is here, and we are excited to celebrate Halloween in a traditional way as a campus community this year! The Office of Student Life is excited to host its annual Ozarks Drive-Thru Trunk-or-Treat, open to University of the Ozarks students, faculty, staff, and the Johnson County community to participate. This year, we have made modifications and adaptations to our Trunk or Treat event to abide by the COVID-19 guidelines set by the University.
For those of you who are new to trunk-or-treating, these events are fun and safe alternatives to trick-or-treating door-to-door. At trunk-or-treats, people gather in a parking lot and decorate their vehicle trunks in the spirit of Halloween, dress up in costumes, and hand out candy to families and students who participate. Guests at the Ozarks Drive-Thru Trunk or Treat event will go through a drive-thru path in the Walton Fine Arts Center and Mabee Gymnasium parking lots. We are asking all guests to remain in their vehicles for the duration of the event.
Ozarks Trunk-or-Treat is scheduled for Saturday, October 30, 2021, from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at the Walton Fine Arts Center/Mabee Gymnasium Parking Lot. . We will be asking that each participating group in this event to maintain social distancing with others and our guests as they drive through the parking lot this year collecting our candy bags that we will provide for you at the event. We hope you will join us for this event!
