What is The Hilltop?
Well, if we were to examine the Merriam-Webster dictionary, The Hilltop is defined as “the highest part of the hill.” The example sentence they use is, “They built their house on the hilltop.” All joking aside, I like that sentence. I also hope that it may sound slightly familiar to you:
“Where the eagle builds her aerie on the hilltop high, nobly stands our Alma Mater pointing to the sky.”
Over the past year, I have had the privilege to be a part alumni events all around the world. I have been throughout Arkansas as well as Oklahoma, Texas, Missouri, Tennessee, El Salvador, Panama, and Mexico. A common question I get is “What is happening at Ozarks; how are things?” The Hilltop, the new electronic newsletter from the Office of Alumni Relations, is our attempt to satisfy your hunger for more information about your alma mater—to share with you what is happening at Ozarks on a monthly basis.
This e-newsletter is for YOU. To make it the best publication that we can, we ask for your input. Let us know what you think about the content, and what you might like to know more about.
We look forward to hearing from you, and hope you enjoy the latest news from The Hilltop!
